A cross of ironwork, cut down to size
The Cromwell 2 Light Wall Light takes the same cross shaped frame as the larger Cromwell chandeliers and pares it back to a single pair of arms, a compact fitting built around a round centre boss with four flared, tapering spokes. Two of the spokes carry the lights, so the shape reads as balanced rather than symmetrical for its own sake.
Old bronze finish
Cast and finished in old bronze, the frame has a worn, uneven patina rather than a flat paint coat, darker in the recesses of the hammered centre boss and lighter along the raised edges of the arms. It's the same finish used across the wider Cromwell range, so a wall light and a chandelier from the collection sit comfortably together in the same room.
How It Works
Two E14 candle style lamp holders sit at opposite ends of the crossbar, wired straight into the wall plate with no chain or drop to plan around. Each arm carries a turned metal candle base and drip pan beneath the bulb, in keeping with the wrought ironwork look of the rest of the fitting.
Where It Works Best
At 46cm wide, the fitting suits spacing in pairs, either side of a fireplace, a bed, or a dining room dresser, or running singly along a hallway or kitchen wall where a full chandelier would be too much. Its flat profile against the wall also makes it a practical option in a room where ceiling drop is limited.
Elstead Lighting
Cromwell is part of the Elstead Lighting collection, a British lighting group whose history traces back to The Elstead Forge in Alton, Hampshire, and which remains led by the same Lucas family today. The wall light carries over the same cross and candle detailing found on the larger Cromwell chandeliers, so the two can be used together without one looking like an afterthought.

Does the Cromwell 2 Light Wall Light come with bulbs? No. It takes two E14 lamp holders and bulbs aren't included, so choose LED candle bulbs to match the fitting's look.
Is this wall light dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit dimmable E14 bulbs. Standard non dimmable bulbs won't dim even on a dimmer switch circuit.
