Twelve lights ring a broad wrought iron band, each raised on its own straight stem, so the fitting reads less like a single chandelier and more like a wheel suspended overhead. At 130cm across, this is one of the largest pieces in Elstead's Cromwell collection, built for a room with real space to spare.

Old Bronze finish

The iron is finished in Old Bronze, a mottled, weathered tone rather than a flat coat, so the band's rivets and joins show through in patches of light and dark depending on the angle. It reads closer to worked metal than a polished fitting, in keeping with the wheel shaped design.

How It Works

Twelve E14 lamp holders sit evenly around the ring, hung from a chain that adjusts between 90cm and 561cm, giving enough reach for a low farmhouse kitchen ceiling or a genuinely tall stairwell. Bulbs are not supplied, so you can choose the candle style LED that suits the room, and the fitting will dim if paired with dimmable bulbs.

Where It Works Best

Look to a large kitchen with an island, a long dining table, or a hallway with real height, somewhere the full 130cm span can hang clear of furniture and be seen from below. The open ring and multiple stems mean it reads well from underneath as much as from the side.

Does the Cromwell 12 Light Chandelier come with bulbs? No. It takes twelve E14 candle style bulbs, and we recommend LEDs, but they are not included.

Can I adjust how low the Cromwell chandelier hangs? Yes. The chain allows the drop to be adjusted from 90cm up to 561cm, so it can suit a lower kitchen ceiling or a stairwell with much more height to it.

Is the Cromwell 12 Light Chandelier in Old Bronze dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit dimmable bulbs. A non dimmable bulb will not dim even on a dimmer switch circuit.
