The Cleveland Single Head Lamp Post borrows its shape from old fashioned street lighting: a fluted column rising to a lantern head with a turned finial on top, standing on a solid stepped base that looks like it has always been there. Weathered bronze finish

Cast in aluminium and finished in weathered bronze, the post carries a soft, uneven patina worked into the metal rather than a flat paint colour, so the tone shifts slightly from panel to panel. The lantern head is glazed on all sides with clear seeded glass, full of the tiny trapped bubbles that scatter light instead of showing it as one hard point.

How It Works

A single E27 lamp sits behind the seeded glass panels, throwing light out in every direction and down around the base of the post rather than in one beam. Because the light spreads, one post is usually enough to cover a good stretch of path or driveway entrance, and it will take a dimmable LED lamp if you want to adjust the level after dark.

Does it come with a bulb? No. The post has a single E27 lamp holder but no lamp is included, so you can choose the colour temperature and brightness yourself.

Can it be dimmed? Yes, as long as the E27 lamp you fit is itself dimmable and is used with a compatible dimmer switch. The post's wiring supports it, but the dimming behaviour depends on the lamp chosen.
