A pub sign lantern for wherever you need one
Chiswick takes its cues from the lantern signs that used to swing outside London's old backstreet pubs, a domed brass shade on a long, gently curved arm that throws light exactly where a name or number needs to be seen.
Antique brass finish
The dome, the swan neck arm and the round wall plate are all finished in antique brass, with a warm, softly aged tone running across the brushed metal. A ribbed prismatic glass lens sits behind the rim of the shade, spreading the beam evenly rather than throwing a single hard spot of light.
How It Works
A single E27 lamp holder sits inside the dome, shielded from the weather by the shade and the glass lens beneath it, so the fitting can be mounted outside without an additional cover or enclosure. Two small screws on the rim let you tilt the shade up or down to angle the beam onto a sign, a doorway or a name plate.
Where It Works Best
Its long reach and downward tilt make Chiswick a natural fit for shop and pub signage, but it works just as well over a house name, beside a gate or above a porch, anywhere you want one confident pool of light rather than a wide wash.

Can I angle the light where I need it? Yes. The shade tilts on two side screws, so you can angle it down onto a sign or across a doorway once it's fitted.
Does the Chiswick sign light come with a bulb? No. It takes one E27 lamp holder and the bulb isn't supplied, so choose a dimmable E27 bulb if you want to use it on a dimmer switch.
Do I need an electrician to install this light? Yes. It's a Class I fitting that's wired directly into the wall, so we always recommend a qualified electrician installs it.
