Wire swags cast in black

Eight arms curve out from a central column, with looping wire swags crossing beneath them in overlapping arcs, so the whole piece reads more like ironwork tracery than a standard candle style chandelier. The black finish keeps every curve sharp against a ceiling, letting the frame do the decorating rather than the bulbs.

The frame is finished in a deep matte black with a slightly textured, non reflective surface, so the wirework reads as forged metal rather than a polished or plated finish. It is the same black used across the wider Carisbrooke range, from the smaller wall lights up to the largest chandeliers in the collection.

How It Works

Eight E14 candle style lamp holders sit around a central column, with wire swags looped beneath them in crossing arcs. It hangs on chain, and because the chain length is set at installation, the drop can be adjusted between 81.5cm and 220cm to suit a lower or higher ceiling before it goes up. The fitting is wired to Class I standard for a hardwired mains connection, and it will dim if fitted with dimmable LED bulbs.

Where It Works Best

Its scale and drama suit a dining table or a living room with some height to play with, and with the chain dropped low it can also work as a statement piece over a wide hallway or staircase, where the looped wirework can be seen from below as well as straight on.
