A compact take on the Gothic candelabra
Three slender arms curl out from a short central column and cross low beneath it, tied together with the same wire wrapped curves that run through the whole Carisbrooke range, just scaled down here to suit smaller rooms and lower ceilings.
Finish
Every arm, column and candle drip pan is finished in black mild steel, with a slightly textured, matte surface rather than a flat paint sheen. Ivory candle tube covers wrap the base of each of the three E14 holders, warming up the otherwise dark, graphic silhouette.
How It Works
The chandelier hangs from a black chain that lets the drop run anywhere from 47cm up to 110.5cm, so it can be set to suit a low ceiling or a taller room. This size also includes a flush convert fitting, letting it sit close to the ceiling as a semi flush light instead of hanging free, if that suits the space better. Three E14 lamp holders take standard candle bulbs, which aren't supplied, and dimmable bulbs let the light be dimmed from a compatible switch.
Where It Works Best
At 47cm across and 40.5cm tall before the chain, this three light Carisbrooke suits a small dining table, a snug, a study, or a hallway landing, somewhere a full size chandelier would crowd the room but a single pendant would look too sparse. Its open, crossed arms also read well from below, so it suits spaces where the fitting is seen looking up from a staircase or a lower floor.

Can this chandelier be fitted close to the ceiling? Yes. It includes a flush convert fitting, so instead of hanging on the full chain drop it can be set close to the ceiling as a semi flush light.
Is the Carisbrooke 3 Light Chandelier dimmable? Yes, as long as it's fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs. Standard, non dimmable bulbs will not dim even on a dimmer circuit.
What bulbs does this chandelier take? It takes three E14 candle bulbs, which are not included, so you can choose the brightness and colour temperature that suits the room.
