Elstead Brompton Single Bathroom Flush Fitting - Brushed Brass

There is a period neatness to the Brompton, a ceiling light built around clean, rounded lines that nod back to 1930s design without leaning on any one decade too heavily. Sitting flush to the ceiling, it stays low profile while still giving a room a proper finished light fitting rather than a bare fixture.

Brushed brass with a soft opal glow

A ridged brushed brass surround wraps around the top of the fitting, catching the light along its grooves, while a wide opal glass bowl sits beneath it, diffusing the light into a gentle, even spread rather than a single bright point.

How it works

It runs on a single 10W LED GX53 bulb, wired to Class I standards, and carries an IP44 rating that makes it suitable for bathroom zones where steam and splashes are a factor. Choose a dimmable bulb if you want more control over the brightness.

Where it works best

At 35.6cm across and only 10cm deep, it sits close enough to the ceiling to work well in bathrooms with lower ceilings, and its rounded, classic shape means it fits just as easily into a period property as a newer build.
