A proper street lamp for a front garden
The Bayview Lamp Post stands well over two metres tall, so it does what a real lamp post does, marking a drive or path from a distance rather than just lighting the ground at your feet. A plain lantern head sits atop a tapered, fluted column and an octagonal base, in the clean lines you would expect from a period street lamp.
Black, clear glass
Cast in aluminium and finished in black, the Bayview keeps its detailing simple, a domed cap, a ball finial, and four flat panes of clear bevelled glass around the lamp itself, so the bulb is fully visible rather than diffused.
How it works
One lamp holder sits inside the head, visible through the clear glazing on all four sides, giving an even, unobstructed spread of light around the post rather than a single directional beam.
Where it works best
Its height suits open driveways, long front gardens or gateways, anywhere a low level bollard light would get lost and a genuine lamp post makes more sense.
