At 239cm tall, this lamp post is built to be noticed from a distance rather than up close. A leaf finial and a pair of curling scrolls sit above a glazed lantern head, which in turn tops a fluted column running down to a wide, stepped base plate.

Weathered Bronze finish

Cast in Weathered Bronze, the metalwork carries a near black base coat with copper and bronze breaking through on every fluted band, scroll and leaf tip, giving the post a lived in look straight out of the box. The lantern head itself is glazed with amber tinted, rippled glass, so the light through it has some texture once evening falls.

How it works

A single E27 lamp holder sits behind the glass, and the post connects to a hardwired supply through its base, ready to be set into paving, gravel or a lawn edge.

Where it works best

Good either side of a gateway, marking the start of a driveway, or spaced along a path where you want light at head height rather than close to the ground. Its 30cm footprint needs a proper garden setting rather than a narrow side passage.
