Plain white outside, bright silver within
This version of the Balance pendant keeps things crisp. The drum shade is a chalky white on the outside, giving little away, but look up into the underside once the light is on and you'll find a silver lining bouncing a cool, almost mirrored glow back across the room.
White with polished nickel
A slender white rod carries the shade, with polished nickel showing only at the joins, the ceiling rose and the point just above the drum. It's a restrained pairing that lets the silver lining inside do the more noticeable work once the lamp is switched on.
How It Works
It takes a single E27 LED lamp, dimmable if you fit dimmable bulbs, and the drop rod extends from 33.4cm out to 123.4cm so the hanging height can be set to suit the room. The frame underneath is mild steel, wired to Class I.
Where It Works Best
It suits a dining table particularly well, gathering light low and bright over the surface, but it's equally at home as a statement piece above a hallway console, to one side of a bed, or marking the turn of a staircase.

Is the Balance pendant dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable E27 bulb. A bulb without dimming won't respond to a dimmer switch even if the circuit itself is dimmable.
Does it come with a bulb? No. The single E27 lamp holder is left for you to fit your own bulb, so you can choose the warmth and brightness that suits the room.
How much can I adjust the hanging height? The drop rod extends from 33.4cm up to 123.4cm, so it can sit low over a dining table or higher above a console or staircase.
