A Single Sharp Line of Light

Set the Ascent on a plain surface and it does most of the work itself. A slender nickel column tapers upward from a solid four sided base to a fine point, holding up a softly textured grey shade with nothing else nearby competing for attention.

Polished Nickel, Grey Shade

Mild steel is polished to a bright, reflective nickel finish and shaped into that four sided taper, with a crisp bevelled edge running down each face that catches the light differently depending on where you're standing. The shade on top is a dark grey woven fabric with a hard back, giving the light a slightly muted, easy going glow rather than a bright white one, and it's topped with a small nickel finial that echoes the base below.

How It Works

It's wired for a single E27 bulb, not included, to Class I electrical standards. Fit a dimmable LED and you can turn the light down for evenings rather than running it at one fixed brightness.
