The Ascent's silhouette does more work than most table lamps ever attempt: a slim, tapering column that narrows to a point like a miniature obelisk, catching the light along every polished edge before it even reaches a bulb.

The column is finished in polished nickel, buffed to a genuine mirror shine rather than a soft brushed look, so every faceted edge throws back a sharp reflection. Above it sits a black shade with a softly textured, faux silk finish, its muted surface keeping the design feeling sharp and considered rather than showy.

One E27 lamp holder sits beneath the shade, wired to Class I standards for a proper earthed connection. Fit it with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer, and you can bring the light down for something softer in the evening or turn it up for reading.
