A clean geometric silhouette

Ascent is built around a single idea: a tall, tapering column that narrows steadily from a wide base up to the shade, with no arms, joints or extra detailing to distract from the shape. It reads as a piece of furniture as much as a light.

Finish

The column is finished in a smooth black lacquer, with a small polished nickel finial marking the top. A crisp white hard backed shade sits above it, keeping the look graphic and giving the light a soft, even spread once it's on.

How it works

Takes a single E27 bulb inside the shade, with dimming possible if you fit a dimmable bulb and have a compatible dimmer switch.

Its height and clean lines suit a living room corner or beside a sofa where you want a strong vertical shape rather than a fussy silhouette, and it holds its own next to plainer, more contemporary furniture.
