The Ascent 1 Light Floor Lamp works on one idea: a tall column that narrows evenly from a wide base up to a slim neck, then meets a hard backed shade with no arms, joints or extra ornament along the way. How It Works

A single E27 lamp holder sits inside the shade, and the bulb isn't included so you can choose your own. Fit a dimmable E27 bulb with a compatible dimmer switch and the lamp will dim; without one it simply switches on and off at full brightness.
