Ano is a small round fitting built to work quietly outdoors, whether that's beside a door, spaced along a path, or run up a flight of steps. A slim outer rim sits just proud of the main body, tracing a thin band of light around its own edge, while the broad opal lens beneath spreads a softer, even wash across the wall or ceiling it's fixed to.

Graphite finish

The body is cast aluminium finished in a flat graphite grey, a tone chosen to sit back against render, brick or stone rather than draw attention to itself in daylight. At night, that quiet finish falls away and the two glowing rings do the work instead.

How It Works

Ano takes a single 9W GX53 LED bulb, which isn't included, so you'll need to fit one before use. Choose a dimmable GX53 and the fitting will respond to a dimmer switch. It can be mounted to either a wall or a ceiling, whichever suits the spot, and being wired directly rather than plugged in, we recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation.

Where It Works Best

Ano's small footprint, just 14cm across, makes it easy to space along a garden path, mount either side of a back door, or repeat down a run of external steps without any one fitting overwhelming the space. Rated IP54, it copes with rain and damp air rather than needing a sheltered spot, so it can be used fully exposed to the weather.
