A chandelier built to fill a room
The Amarilli 15 Light is the biggest piece in the range, a two tier chandelier with scrolling arms that spread out wide beneath a central column of forged acanthus leaves. It is the kind of fitting that becomes the focal point the moment you walk in, whether that is under a stairwell, over a long dining table or in a hallway with height to spare.
Black frame, silvered detail
The main frame is finished in black, with the leaf clusters and candle sleeves brushed in a contrasting silver that catches the light along every curve. Faceted glass drops and small crystal ball accents run down the stem and along the lower tier, adding sparkle without tipping into anything fussy.
How it works
Fifteen lamp holders are arranged across the two tiers, nine on the lower ring and six above, each sitting on a glass sconce. The suspension chain lets you set the drop anywhere from around 108cm up to 588cm, so it can be hung close to a low ceiling or lowered right down an open stairwell. Use dimmable bulbs and it will dim.
Where it works best
Its scale suits generous spaces: a large dining room, a grand entrance hall, or a double height stairwell where it can be seen from more than one floor. Anywhere with a lower ceiling will struggle to do it justice.

Amarilli is one of Elstead's more traditional, country house style designs, built from hand forged scrollwork and leaf detailing rather than anything mass produced looking. Elstead has been designing lighting like this from its base in Alton, Hampshire since 1971, and the Lucas family still run the company today.
