Small light, precise job
A picture that's beautifully framed but poorly lit still gets overlooked. The Alton single small LED picture light gives a favourite print, photograph or small canvas its own dedicated source of light, angled down from just above the frame so the piece reads properly instead of fading into the shadows around it.
Brushed brass
This finish is a warm, brushed brass with a soft satin sheen rather than a mirror polish, so it reads as a quiet accent against the wall rather than competing with whatever it's lighting. The fitting is built on a mild steel frame, with a slender curved arm carrying the light bar out from a small round wall plate, keeping the whole fixture close to the wall and out of the way.
How It Works
A single 6W integrated LED strip runs the length of the bar, casting a soft 3000K wash of light down and out across the frame beneath it rather than one hot spot in the middle. Output is fixed rather than dimmable, so it's a straightforward on and off fitting with no separate dimmer to wire in. The LED is built into the bar itself rather than a separate bulb, so there's nothing extra to source or replace later on.

Alton suits the rooms where artwork tends to hang, living rooms, dining rooms, hallways and home offices, positioned above a single large canvas or centred over a smaller framed piece on a stairwell or landing wall.
