A single point of sparkle

The single version of Agatha keeps the design as simple as it gets: one faceted glass shade, one long polished chrome rod, and a small decorative disc part way down that breaks up the drop. It is a compact fitting that still catches the eye, throwing light through every cut edge of the shade.

Polished Chrome

A brass body is plated in a bright polished chrome that runs the length of the rod, the ceiling rose and the shade holder, giving the whole fitting a clean, reflective finish. Beneath it, the glass shade is pressed with vertical flutes and a diamond cut pattern, so it sparkles rather than simply glows once the bulb is on.

How It Works

One G9 bulb sits inside the shade; we recommend a 3W LED G9, which is not supplied. Because it uses a standard G9 fitting rather than an integrated LED, choosing a dimmable bulb lets you adjust the light level from a soft glow to full brightness on a compatible dimmer switch. The pendant wires directly into the ceiling rather than plugging in, so we always recommend a qualified electrician handles installation.

Where It Works Best

Hung singly, Agatha suits a compact spot above a basin or in a small ensuite, and the adjustable drop rod means it can be set to suit ceilings of different heights. Fit two side by side and it works just as well flanking a mirror or vanity unit. Agatha comes from Elstead Lighting, a British lighting group whose roots trace back to The Elstead Forge in Alton, Hampshire, and which remains led by the Lucas family today.
