There is something quietly luxurious about the way light filters through a sheer weave, and the Diyas ILS20287 Curino round shade uses that effect to lovely ends. Its straight sided cylindrical drum is wrapped in a black sheer weave fabric over a clear internal laminate, so when the lamp is lit a soft glow shimmers through the weave while the shade holds its crisp modern outline.
At 20cm in diameter this small lamp shade suits bedside lamps, desk lamps and smaller table lamps, and it comes with a reducer ring so it fits both standard and 22mm lamp holders.
Sold as a shade only, the Curino brings a contemporary, slightly dressy note to bedrooms, living rooms and home offices, and its black weave pairs handsomely with chrome, glass or dark wood bases.
