Twelve lamps behind a rolling wave of Asfour crystal make the Diyas IL31393 Camilla a serious statement piece. Strands of crystal beads, sequenced from minute beads through to substantial ones, are hooked to the polished chrome ceiling plate at both ends so they form a waved tunnel of glass, with 40mm crystal balls suspended within the wave for extra impact. Lit, the whole fitting shimmers with elaborate, ever changing patterns.
This oval twelve light version is the grandest of the Camilla ceiling range and deserves a room to match, such as a large open plan kitchen and dining space, a long dining table, a spacious lounge or a hotel style reception area. Its elongated form is particularly effective over a kitchen island or rectangular table, where it spreads sparkle evenly along the full length.
