The Diyas IL31077 Aubrey is a four light pendant that brings together an antique brass frame and a substantial hand made glass bowl with a subtle rippled surface. That ripple is the making of the fitting, since it catches the light from the four lamps and softens it into a warm, even illumination that feels far gentler than exposed bulbs. The framework is deliberately artistic, drawn to complement the curves of the glass rather than compete with them.
The mellow brass tones make this pendant a lovely match for traditional dining rooms, farmhouse kitchens and period hallways, and with four lamps it has the output to serve as the main light in a good sized room. Hang it over a dining table or in a generous entrance hall for the full effect. The Aubrey collection is also offered in polished chrome for more contemporary spaces.
