The clever party trick of the Diyas Trace IL30461 is its drum shade. Made from a special reflective material, it reads as a plain mirror when switched off, then turns a soft smoked grey the moment the light comes on, revealing the crystal detail hidden within.
Inside sits a Flemish style frame finished in polished chrome and dressed with Asfour crystal, so five lamps set the crystal glinting behind the translucent grey drum. It is a design that genuinely changes character depending on whether it is lit.
