This version of the Dene swaps clear or patterned glass for smooth white tubular shades, giving a gentler, more even light than you'd get through clear glass. The two lamps run along a satin black bar that fixes flush to the wall or ceiling, so there's no need for extra clearance.

Choosing Your Finish

The white tubular glass here diffuses the light nicely, taking the edge off the bulb rather than letting it shine straight through. If you'd rather have a bit more sparkle or texture, the Dene design also comes in other glass options across the range, all built around the same satin black bar.

How It Works

Two G9 lamp holders sit behind the white glass, each rated up to 10W, bulbs not included. It's dimmable provided you use dimmable lamps and a suitable dimmer switch, and it's wired to Class I electrical standard, so an earth connection is required. The IP44 rating protects it against water splashed from any direction, which is what makes it suitable near a sink or shower.

Where It Works Best
