The Dene brings two lamps together along a slim satin black bar, each one tucked behind a ribbed round glass shade that breaks the light up into something softer than a bare bulb. It sits flush to whatever it's fixed to, so it's a neat option for the kind of spot where a pendant would just get in the way, whether that's a low ceiling or a narrow stretch of wall.

Choosing Your Finish

Here the satin black bar is paired with ribbed glass shades, giving the light a gentle texture as it passes through rather than a flat, even beam. The Dene design is also made with other glass finishes across the range, so if ribbed isn't quite what you're picturing, there are alternatives using the same satin black frame.

How It Works

Two G9 lamp holders run along the bar, each taking a bulb rated up to 10W, bulbs not included. It's dimmable, provided you fit dimmable lamps and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch. Wiring is to Class I electrical standards, so it needs an earth connection when installed. The IP44 rating means it's protected against water splashing from any direction, which is what allows it to be fitted close to a sink or shower without sitting directly in the spray.

Where It Works Best
