Two round glass shades with a fine cross pattern pressed into them sit along the satin black bar of this Dene fitting, catching the light in a slightly different way to plain glass and adding some visual interest without overdoing it. It is built to mount flush to a wall or ceiling, holding two lamps in a neat line.
Rated IP44, it is safe to install in bathroom zones 1 and 2, making it a sensible pick above a sink or near a shower as well as in a hallway, bedroom or landing. The satin black frame keeps things looking sharp, and the patterned glass means the light source itself stays nicely diffused rather than glaring.
