This 12cm Dene shade comes in opal glass, which has a gentle milky look that diffuses the bulb nicely and hides the lamp itself from view. It is a smooth round shade sold on its own as a spare or replacement, so take a moment to check it will fit your current pendant or wall light before ordering.
Because opal glass spreads light so evenly, it works well in bedrooms and living rooms where glare from a bare lamp would be a bit much. It is designed for indoor fittings only, so it is not intended for bathrooms or any other space where it might get damp.
