This version of the Deacon single pendant brings together a satin black frame and a soft opal shade, giving a gentler, more diffused glow than the clear or metallic finishes in the range. It takes one G9 lamp, making it a good choice where you want ambient light rather than a sharp spotlight.
The opal shade softens the bulb nicely, so it is comfortable to have at eye level, which makes it well suited to hanging over a kitchen island, dining table or breakfast bar. The satin black fitting keeps the overall look clean and current, and it works just as well on its own or repeated along a run of cabinetry.
