Collingwood SL220 LED Spike Light - Stainless Steel - Straight to Mains

The SL220 is a straight to mains LED spike light designed to be driven straight into a lawn or border for uplighting trees, shrubs and architectural features. This stainless steel 316 version is built for coastal and exposed sites where standard aluminium finishes would corrode faster. It runs at 5.7W and is offered in 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, giving out between 515 and 538 lumens depending on which you pick, so you're looking at roughly 90 to 94 lumens per watt.

The driver is integral, so it wires directly to the mains supply with no separate transformer to plan for. The head tilts through 90 degrees from vertical to horizontal, letting you angle the beam once the spike is in the ground, and there's a choice of narrow 12 degree or wide 40 degree beam angles depending on whether you want a tight highlight or a broader wash. It's rated IP65 and comes with a 7 year warranty.

Accessories like the JB5 gel filled connector, GH220 glare hood or GS220 snoot attachment are sold separately and are worth considering at the planning stage, particularly for moonlighting effects through tree canopies.
