Turn the Nova CSP Into a Proper Pendant
The Nova CSP ships ready to surface mount straight to the ceiling. This suspension kit is what lets you hang it instead, dropping it down on a 2 metre cable so it reads as a proper pendant over a dining table, a kitchen island or partway down a stairwell, rather than sitting flush against the ceiling. The kit includes the ceiling rose, the cable and suspension wires, and the fixings needed to hang it.
The White Finish
This version is finished in white, to match the white edition of the Nova CSP it's designed for. The ceiling rose is made from aerograde steel and measures 136mm across and 33.5mm deep, so it sits neatly against the ceiling without drawing attention to itself. The whole kit weighs 0.9kg.
How It Works
A 2000mm length of 5 core cable runs between the ceiling rose and the fitting, more cores than a standard lighting cable needs. The Nova CSP is colour switchable, so those extra conductors carry the control signal that lets it change colour temperature, not just live and neutral for power. Three fine steel suspension wires run down from the rose to hold the fitting level while the cable does the electrical work.
