This bracket exists to do one thing well. It holds Collingwood's SM28 surface mount profile firmly against a wall or ceiling. It isn't the star of an LED strip installation, but it's the part that keeps everything else running in a straight, secure line.
Anodised Aluminium, Not Plastic
The bracket is made from anodised aluminium, the same finish used on the SM28 profile itself. That means it sits neatly alongside the channel it's holding, rather than looking like a generic clip bolted on as an afterthought.
How It Works
The bracket clips around the SM28 profile and is then fixed to the wall or ceiling through its own screw holes. Once in place, it holds the profile at a consistent height and angle along its run, so the LED strip inside sits level instead of sagging or twisting out of line.
Where It Works Best
This bracket earns its place on any surface mounted SM28 run where the profile needs a firm, permanent fixing rather than adhesive tape alone. That includes coving, shelving, joinery and ceiling runs, particularly on longer lengths where the profile needs support at intervals along its span, not just at each end.
