A Small Bracket That Keeps Your CO7 Profile Exactly Where You Put It
This is the mounting bracket made to fit Collingwood's CO7 surface mount corner profile, the aluminium channel that carries LED strip around an internal or external wall or ceiling corner. On its own, a corner profile run over any length wants to sag or twist at the fixing points. This bracket clips to the underside of the profile and gives it a proper anchor into the wall or ceiling, so the line stays straight and tight to the corner for the life of the installation.
Spring Steel Build
The bracket is pressed from spring steel, giving it enough flex to grip the CO7 profile firmly while staying slim enough to disappear once it's fitted. It's shaped specifically to the CO7's corner angle and channel width, so it locates onto the profile rather than needing to be bent or packed out to fit, and each bracket carries two fixing holes for screwing straight into the wall or ceiling substrate.
How It Works
The bracket sits behind the CO7 profile, with its folded lip locating into the back of the channel. Once it's screwed to the wall or ceiling through its two fixing holes, the profile clips onto the bracket from the front, hiding the fixing point completely. Space brackets out along the run at regular intervals, typically every 400 to 500mm, and the profile stays supported along its full length rather than just at the end caps.
Where It Works Best
Use this bracket wherever a CO7 corner profile run needs a solid fixing point rather than adhesive tape alone, such as coving corners, staircase strings, joinery edges, or external corners on cabinetry and shopfitting where the profile takes knocks or vibration. It's also the right choice on longer runs, where relying on the profile's own adhesive backing risks a slow sag over months. Because it's a fixing accessory rather than a finished part, it's bought alongside the CO7 profile and your chosen LED strip to complete the installation.
About Collingwood Lighting
Collingwood Lighting designs and manufactures its LED products from Sywell in Northamptonshire, and has specialised in LED technology since 2002. Fixings like this one are part of a wider Collingwood LED strip system built around profiles, drivers, and connectors that are all engineered to work together, rather than a bracket that happens to fit. Collingwood has also been awarded a Gold medal by EcoVadis, placing it in the top 5% of companies assessed globally for sustainability.
Good to Know
- Made from spring steel, supplied with a 1 year warranty.
- Designed specifically for Collingwood's CO7 surface mount corner profile; it isn't a universal fit for other profile shapes.

- Fixes with two screws directly into the wall or ceiling substrate; screws are not included.
Questions People Ask
How many brackets do I need per metre of profile?
As a guide, fit one bracket every 400 to 500mm along the run, plus one near each end, so the profile is supported evenly and doesn't rely on its adhesive backing alone.
Will this bracket fit other Collingwood profiles?
No. It's shaped to match the CO7 surface mount corner profile specifically, so it won't clip securely onto Collingwood's other profile ranges.
Does the bracket show once the profile is fitted?
No. It sits behind the profile and locates into the back of the channel, so once the CO7 profile clips into place the bracket is completely hidden from view.
