A Flexible Strip of Light for Awkward Spaces

The LSV45 is an 8mm wide, flexible LED strip from Collingwood, supplied as a 5 metre reel that you cut to the length you need. It runs at 9.6 watts per metre, giving a bright, even line of light rather than distinct points, and its silicone coated tape means it curves around corners and shapes that a rigid fitting never could.

Choose Your White

This strip comes in white, with a choice of three colour temperatures. 2700K gives a warm, traditional glow close to an old filament bulb. 3000K sits a touch cooler and suits kitchens and hallways well. 4000K is a crisp, neutral white for task areas like a home office or utility room. All three share the same 120 degree beam spread and a CRI above 80Ra, so colours under the strip look natural rather than washed out.

How It Works

The strip is wired in parallel, so brightness stays consistent whether you're lighting the first metre or the last. It needs a separate 24V DC driver to step your mains supply down to a safe low voltage. The driver isn't included, so factor one into your order. It's dimmable too, provided the driver you pair it with supports dimming. The self adhesive backing sticks onto clean, dry surfaces such as the underside of a shelf or inside a coving channel, and because you cut it to length yourself, it's built to fit your space rather than the other way round.

Where It Works Best

Being IP44 rated, the LSV45 is at home in kitchens and bathrooms as well as living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways, offices and stairs. Think under cabinet lighting in a kitchen, a soft wash along a bathroom mirror recess, tread lighting on a staircase, or a gentle glow behind a bed frame or television unit. Supplied as a continuous reel, it also suits longer runs like coving or shelving where a series of separate fittings would look disjointed.
