The JB6 is a small inline connector for joining two cable ends together outdoors, with the join filled with gel to keep water out to an IP68 rating. It's built around a single terminal block secured by one screw, so it's a quick job to strip the cables, seat them in the block and close the housing back up.
It's designed to extend runs of Collingwood outdoor products wired with WCR275 cable, which covers a lot of the ground light and spike light ranges, letting you add length between a fitting and its power source without leaving an exposed joint buried in soil or set into a wall. The housing is plastic and no cable is supplied with it, so you'll need your own to go either side of the connector.
It carries a 1 year guarantee, and as with any outdoor electrical connection, we'd recommend it's fitted by a registered NICEIC electrician.
