The JB3 is a small, discreet waterproof junction box for wiring Collingwood's RGB and RGBW products together outdoors, built around a 5 way terminal block with one input and up to seven outputs. It's designed to work with fittings that use the 4 x 0.75mm PVC RGB cable, so it isn't a universal connector for standard 2 core cable.
Measuring 85mm by 85mm by 50mm and rated IP66, it keeps the connection dry and protected when sited in a flower bed, under decking or anywhere else exposed to the weather. Multiple JB3 boxes can be daisy chained together where a scheme needs more outputs than one box provides.
It's made from plastic and comes with a 1 year warranty, in keeping with its role as a wiring accessory rather than a light fitting in its own right.
