Joining two lengths of Collingwood's LSP or LSC02 10mm LED strip is easy enough with a straight connector, but not every run travels in a straight line. This flex bend connector links two lengths of strip while letting the join follow a curve, so the run can turn a corner or trace a shape rather than stop dead at the first bend.
A Solder Free Clip Together Joint
The connector clips onto each cut end of strip without any soldering, so there's no iron or flux needed on site. Once the two halves are pressed together, the joint sits flush against the strip rather than standing proud of it, and its slim profile is built to tuck inside most of the housings used with this strip.
How It Works
Copper contacts inside the polycarbonate housing make the electrical connection between the two lengths of strip once they're clipped in. A short length of flexible cable links the two connector ends, so the join can flex around a curve rather than forcing the strip to bend on its own. It's built to Class I electrical construction and carries an IP20 rating, so it's designed for use on a completed strip run rather than as a standalone fitting.
