A Floodlight With Serious Reach

The FL05 sits toward the top end of Collingwood's floodlight range. At 50W it throws a wide 120 degree beam that can light up a driveway, courtyard or a decent stretch of garden in one go. This version adds a built in PIR sensor, so it works as a proper security light rather than just a fixed floodlight.

Black Cast Aluminium, Colour Switchable

It's finished in black painted cast aluminium, a tough material that copes well with being left outside all year. Rather than being fixed to one colour temperature, this floodlight is colour switchable between 3000K, 4000K and 6500K. Output runs from around 5000 lumens at 3000K up to 5100 lumens at 6500K, which works out at up to 102 lumens per watt.

How It Works

• The PIR sensor detects motion between 2 and 8 metres from the fitting

Where It Works Best

This is a light for spaces that need proper coverage rather than a soft accent glow. Driveways, courtyards, side passages and larger back gardens are the obvious fits, especially anywhere you want the light to come on by itself when someone approaches. Because the beam is wide and the output is high, it also suits gable ends and larger walls where a smaller floodlight would leave dark patches at the edges.
