The FL05 at 50W is one of the bigger floodlights in Collingwood's range, suited to driveways, courtyards and larger garden areas. This PIR version adds a built-in motion sensor that triggers between 2 and 8 metres, with an override switch for when you'd rather it stayed on continuously. It's colour switchable between 3000K, 4000K and 6500K, with lumens from around 5000 at 3000K up to 5100 at 6500K, giving efficacy of up to 102 lumens per watt.
The driver is integral, so it's wired straight to the mains without a separate power supply to source. It throws a wide 120 degree beam and rotates 360 degrees on a detachable bracket, which makes fine-tuning the angle straightforward. It's made from black painted cast aluminium, IP65 rated with IK07 impact resistance, and the light is flicker free, which is worth knowing if you have CCTV running in the same area.
The floodlight carries a 5 year warranty, with the PIR sensor covered separately for 3 years. Between the output and the sensor, it works well as a security light for driveways or side access points.
