A Tidy Finish for Your CO7 Corner Run

Collingwood's CO7 profile is the slim 45 degree channel used to carry LED strip neatly around an internal or external corner instead of running it flat across a wall or ceiling. This end cap is the small part that finishes the job. It closes off the open end of the aluminium channel once your strip and diffuser are fitted, so you get a clean, capped edge instead of an exposed profile end.

Two Versions for Two Situations

The cap comes in two forms. One is pre punched with a cable hole, so the LED strip's wiring can exit neatly through the end of the profile. The other has no hole, for runs where the cable leaves the profile somewhere along its length, or where both ends of the run are simply capped off. Both are moulded in white ABS plastic, not the anodised aluminium of the profile itself, which is what lets them snap into place by hand with no tools needed.

How It Works

Once your CO7 profile is cut to length and the LED strip and diffuser are fitted inside it, the end cap presses over the open end of the channel and clips home. There's no adhesive or screw fixing involved. If you've chosen the cable hole version, the wire simply threads out through the punched opening before the cap is seated.

Where It Works Best

This cap is for anyone finishing off a CO7 installation, whether that's a kitchen plinth corner, a staircase stringer, a shopfront edge, or an outdoor wall junction where the profile turns a corner. Choose the cable hole version wherever the wiring needs to exit right at the end of the run, and the plain version wherever the cable is routed out elsewhere or the end is a dead stop. It's sold separately from the CO7 profile, so it's worth ordering alongside your profile length rather than after the strip is already fitted.
