This coving profile is designed to carry LED strip lighting along the top of a wall and throw the light up onto the ceiling. Instead of seeing a row of individual diodes, you get a soft, even glow that spreads across the ceiling and down the wall. A simple plastic profile, built to disappear

Made from lightweight plastic in a plain finish, this coving is designed to blend into the ceiling line rather than stand out as a feature. Each length measures 1000mm long, 36mm wide and 65mm deep, with a channel inside shaped to hold LED strip and direct its light upward and outward. It is sold in metre lengths, so you can join as many as you need to run along the full length of a wall.

How It Works

LED strip fits into the channel that runs along the underside of the profile. Once in place, the shape of the coving hides the strip from view and bounces its light both upward onto the ceiling and outward across the wall, creating the wash effect. LED strip itself is not included and needs to be bought separately to fit inside the coving.

Where It Works Best

This coving suits any room where ambient lighting is wanted rather than task lighting. Living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and stairwells are common choices. It works well run along one wall as a feature, or around the full perimeter of a room for a more continuous glow.
