A bolt-on emergency converter that fits through the M20 interface of a compatible luminaire, taking around 4 minutes to install, for adding emergency backup to Collingwood's Caiman range without buying a separate emergency fitting. This version has an open area lens, giving a wide, even spread of light suited to open rooms rather than narrow routes.
It's a non-maintained converter with self-test functionality, so it checks its own battery and function periodically and only lights up in a mains failure or during a test cycle, running for a rated 3 hours once triggered. It puts out up to 2.5W at 6000K, is IP65 rated and IK07 impact resistant, and is built from polycarbonate.
It comes with a 4 year warranty and is intended for use with compatible Caiman luminaires rather than as a standalone fitting.
