A bolt-on emergency converter that fits through the M20 interface of a compatible luminaire in around 4 minutes, adding emergency backup to Collingwood's Caiman range without needing a dedicated emergency fitting. This version uses a corridor lens, which throws a narrower, elongated beam suited to escape routes and corridors rather than open rooms.
It's a non-maintained, self-test converter, meaning it checks itself periodically and only comes on during a mains failure or test, for a rated duration of 3 hours. Output is up to 2.5W at 6000K, and it's IP65 rated with IK07 impact resistance, built from polycarbonate.
It carries a 4 year warranty and is designed to be fitted to a compatible Caiman luminaire rather than used on its own.
