The Astra is a surface mounted ceiling light with a clean, rounded profile that reads as a design feature in its own right rather than just a light source. It's available in 18W or 26W, both running at a fixed 4000K cool white, putting out 2000 lumens and 2600 lumens respectively, so you're getting around 100 to 111 lumens per watt either way. The driver is built into the fitting, so there's nothing extra to buy to get it running.
As standard it sits flush to the ceiling for a floating look, but you can also wall mount it or, with the separate Astra suspension kit, hang it as a pendant. It's IP40 rated with IK06 impact resistance, made from an aluminium housing with a microprism lens, and comes with a 5 year warranty.
A wall mounted emergency self test version is also available, which makes it a practical choice for escape routes in offices and commercial spaces as well as kitchens, dining rooms and hallways at home.
