A Slim, Fixed Downlight Built for Fire Rated Ceilings

This is a fixed downlight from Collingwood's 1901 range, built with a slim 75mm bezel and a smaller 65 to 68mm cutout than an adjustable fitting needs. Because it doesn't tilt, it sits close and flush to the ceiling, which suits anywhere you want a neat, uniform grid of lights rather than one you'll ever want to angle.

White Housing, Black Baffle

The housing is white to blend into a white ceiling, while the baffle around the aperture is black, so the inside of the fitting recesses into shadow rather than catching the eye. It's a classic combination for this reason. It draws less attention to the fitting itself and lets the light do the work.

How It Works

• 9.6W integrated LED, fixed rather than tiltable, with a 65 to 68mm cutout
• Choose a fixed colour temperature of 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, or a Dim to Warm option that shifts from 3000K down to 1800K as you dim
• Available in 12°, 24° or 50° beam angles, depending on how tight or wide you need the spread of light
• Dimming is via mains, 1 to 10V or DALI, depending on which variant you choose, handled by a separate driver that's supplied with the fitting and wired in by cable rather than built into the housing
• Fits with rolled spring clips and plug and play connectors, and wires in parallel so multiple fittings can run from the same circuit

Where It Works Best

Choose the IP44 version for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, hallways, stairs and offices, or where you need a light rated for a bathroom's zone 1, such as directly over a bath or shower. Because it's fixed rather than adjustable, it also works well in offices, stairwells and commercial spaces, anywhere you want an even, uniform grid of downlights rather than a single fitting you might want to redirect later.

Can I tilt or angle this downlight?
No. This is a fixed downlight, so it points straight down and can't be adjusted once it's fitted.

What size hole do I need to cut in the ceiling?
The cutout is 65 to 68mm, smaller than Collingwood's adjustable downlights because there's no tilting mechanism to fit around.

Is the driver included?
Yes. A driver is supplied with the fitting and wired in via cable, rather than built into the downlight itself.

Can this be fitted in a bathroom?
