A Downlight Built to Disappear

Some downlights are meant to be noticed. This one isn't. The 1901 Single Adjustable Trimless Downlight has no visible bezel or trim ring. Once the ceiling is skimmed over the fitting's edge, all you see is a clean circle of light with nothing framing it.

White Housing, Black Baffle

This version pairs a white aluminium housing with a black baffle set inside the head. The white body blends straight into a painted ceiling, while the black baffle sits deep enough to hide the light source from normal viewing angles, so you get the beam without the glare of a visible bulb.

How It Works

• Runs at a total of 9.6W from an aluminium fitting
• Head tilts 20 degrees and rotates a full 360 degrees, so it can be aimed after the ceiling is finished
• Available with 12, 24 or 50 degree beam angles
• Colour temperature choice of 2700K, 3000K, 4000K or a Dim to Warm option that shifts down to 1800K as it dims
• Dimmable via mains, 1 to 10V or DALI, with the driver supplied and wired in as part of the fitting
• Cutout size is 70 to 90mm

Where It Works Best

With an IP20 rating, this is a dry room fitting. Think living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms, hallways, home offices, stairwells and commercial interiors, anywhere a clean recessed light is wanted without a visible edge. It isn't suitable for bathrooms or other spaces where it could be exposed to moisture.

Questions People Ask

Can this downlight be fitted in a bathroom?
No. It's rated IP20, which covers dry rooms only, so it shouldn't be fitted in bathrooms or other areas exposed to moisture.

Can I aim the light after it's been fitted?
Yes. The head tilts 20 degrees and rotates 360 degrees, so it can be adjusted after installation and ceiling finishing, not just at the point of fitting.

Does it come with a dimmer switch fitted?
No. It's dimmable via mains, 1 to 10V or DALI control, with the driver built into the fitting, but you'll need a compatible dimmer switch or control system on site.

Is a separate trim or bezel needed?
No. This is a trimless, plaster in fitting, so the ceiling is skimmed up to the edge of the aperture for a flush finish with no visible ring.
