Understated and Light Filled
Sixteen E14 bulbs sit under clear sculpted glass on this 300 centimetre pendant, mounted in a matt black frame that doesn't compete for attention. The combination lets the light do the talking rather than the metalwork, making it a good choice for spaces where you want brightness without visual weight. The black frame stays neutral against whatever sits below.
Choosing Your Finish
Matt black is a finish that works hard to disappear, letting other elements in the room take centre stage. Clear glass lets the maximum light through while adding texture through sculpting. Together they create a fixture that reads as modern and functional rather than decorative, though it's still well made and pleasant to look at.
How It Works
The fitting contains sixteen E14 bulbs rated to 20W maximum, each inside its own sculpted glass shade. It's wired to Class I electrical standards, requiring an earth connection during installation. The IP20 rating means it's for dry indoor use only and won't survive steam, splashing or damp. It's dimmable when fitted with compatible dimmable E14 bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch.
Where It Works Best
At 300 centimetres long, it's designed for kitchen islands and large dining tables. The clear glass delivers good light for food prep and dining tasks, while the black frame keeps it from feeling industrial. It works indoors in contemporary kitchens, dining rooms, open plan living spaces, or anywhere you need linear lighting that prioritises function over ornament.
Design Details
The individual glass bells spread light along the fitting's length rather than pooling it. The clear glass is sculpted to refract light gently, adding texture without colouring it. Matt black hardware doesn't draw attention to itself, letting the light quality and glass work become the focal point. It's built from solid metal and glass to withstand regular use.

Questions People Ask
Will the black frame look darker as the room gets darker?
Yes, matt black will recede visually in low light. The light coming through the clear glass will still read clearly, but the frame itself becomes less visible. This is actually a benefit if you want the light to feel like it's floating above the table.
Is this bright enough for a kitchen?
Yes. Clear glass lets the maximum light through sixteen bulbs, so brightness is good for food preparation and dining tasks. You can use bulbs up to 20W each if you want maximum output.
Can I use warm or cool white LED bulbs?
Yes. The clear glass doesn't colour the light, so you can choose warm white (2700K) for a cosy feel or cool white (4000K) for task lighting. With dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer, you can also adjust the brightness to suit the occasion.
