A Long Line of Warm Scattered Light
This Cedar pendant transforms a kitchen island or dining table into a focal point by running the full 250cm width with thirteen individual light sources. The bell shaped shades in cognac sculpted glass soften and scatter the light, while the warm brass frame complements both traditional schemes and more contemporary spaces without feeling stuffy or dated.
Choosing Your Finish
The brass frame has a naturally warm tone that works well in schemes with existing metalwork or wood detailing. The cognac glass filters light into warm amber tones, creating a more intimate atmosphere than clear glass would. The Cedar range itself is available across three frame colours, so whether you prefer brass, black or nickel, there's a version that will sit comfortably in your scheme.
How It Works
Thirteen E14 lamp holders run the full length of the fitting, meaning you get thirteen distinct points of light rather than a single hot spot. Each takes up to 20W per lamp. The fitting is wired to Class I standards, which means it requires an earth connection as part of the installation. It's dimmable as long as you choose dimmable bulbs and have a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit.
Where It Works Best
A pendant this size needs a long run of space to feel comfortable, which is why kitchen islands and dining tables are its natural home. The Cedar works equally well in a modern open plan kitchen or a more traditional separate dining room. You could also hang it in a long hallway, over a bedroom feature wall, or anywhere you want a line of light with genuine character and presence.
Design Details
The Cedar range couples a simple brass or black or nickel frame with sculpted glass shades that provide real visual interest without being fussy. The shades themselves are mouth blown and hand finished, so each one catches light slightly differently as you move around the room. That subtle variation in how the light bounces through the cognac glass gives the fitting a living quality that would be lost if every shade were perfectly identical.

Questions People Ask
Can I adjust how low it hangs?
Yes. This pendant has an adjustable drop from 50cm right up to 250cm, so you can set it to hang just above the table surface or higher over a kitchen island depending on the look you want and how much headroom you need.
What's the difference between cognac and clear glass?
The cognac glass filters light into warmer amber tones and creates a more ambient feel, while clear glass lets through more light and gives a brighter, cleaner look. Both are available in the Cedar range with the same frame.
Are the bulbs included?
No, the pendant takes thirteen E14 bulbs which are sold separately. We recommend dimmable LEDs for the best flexibility with brightness and warmth.
