How It Works

The fitting takes twelve E14 candle bulbs, rated at 20W maximum each, supplied separately. Wired to Class I electrical standards, it needs an earth connection for safety. You can select dimmable bulbs to give yourself control over the light output, which is particularly useful in a larger space where different times of day call for different lighting levels.

How much does the smoked glass reduce brightness?
It softens and warms the light noticeably, creating atmosphere over raw brightness. With twelve bulbs you'll still have plenty of light, but it will read as more ambient and relaxed than clear glass would.

Is the weight an issue for installation?
At 60kg this is a substantial fitting that will require two people and properly secured ceiling fixings. We recommend getting an electrician to handle the installation.

Can I use warm white or cool white bulbs?
Either works, but warm white (2700K) complements the amber undertones of the smoked glass more naturally. Dimmable warm white bulbs would give you the most flexibility to adjust mood and brightness.
