Stretching 200 by 40cm, this Cedar linear pendant carries ten E14 candle lamps beneath bell shaped cups, each topped with smoked sculpted glass. The smoked tone mutes the brightness of the lamps below it, creating a warmer, softer light than clear glass would give, while the matt black metalwork stays understated in the background.

Choosing Your Finish

The matt black finish is contemporary and unobtrusive, letting the muted amber tones of the smoked glass be the focal point. Other glass colours are available in the Cedar range if you prefer clear or cognac, and the same design comes in polished nickel and brass to pair with these different glass tones.

How It Works

Ten E14 candle bulb holders run along the length, each rated at 20W maximum, with bulbs sold separately. It's wired to Class I electrical specification and requires earthing during installation. You can use dimmable bulbs to reduce the output when you want a more relaxed atmosphere.

Why is the light softer with smoked glass?
Smoked glass acts as a subtle diffuser, spreading and muting the light from the bulbs rather than letting it shine straight through. This creates a more atmospheric glow, especially noticeable in the evening.

Will the smoked glass show fingerprints?
Less than clear glass would, because the smoked tone masks marks and dust. A gentle occasional wipe with a soft cloth is all it needs.

What colour bulbs work best?
