Calice takes a broad, angular cone shade and puts its height under your control, so the same pendant can sit low over a table for dinner and lift out of the way afterwards. It works as much as a mechanism as it does a shade, built for rooms where one fixed drop never quite suits everyone.

This Calice pairs a grey exterior shade with a white interior, so the fitting reads as a quiet, neutral grey from across the room while the light itself glows warm and even underneath. The 48cm diameter gives it real presence over a table without the shade feeling heavy, and the grey tone sits easily against most kitchen and dining colour schemes.

How It Works

A single 16W integrated LED sits inside the shade, giving out 1200 lumens at a warm 3000K colour temperature across a 120 degree beam, with a CRI of 80 for reasonably accurate colour underneath. The rise and fall mechanism lets you pull the shade down to a minimum drop of 45cm or send it back up to a maximum of 200cm, adjusting the height at will rather than fixing it once at installation. The fitting runs to Class I electrical standards and the LED is not dimmable.
