The T-Bar With a Rougher Story to Tell

Most of our T-bars are machined smooth before the knurl goes in. This one starts differently: the knuckle is rough cast, keeping the texture of the mould, then the bar itself is hand polished so the two finishes sit side by side on the same handle.

Choose Your Finish

Cast means the knuckle keeps a raw, sand cast surface rather than the crisp, machined lines of our Knurl bars, so it reads rougher and more industrial by design. Steel gives a bright, cool tone, Welders Black a matte, blackened finish.

How It Works

This T-bar fixes straight through the door face rather than onto a backplate, with a 28mm mounting disc on the reverse and an M5x30 socket button head screw. The bar is 16mm in diameter and fits doors between 14mm and 26mm thick.

Where It Works Best

Works well on cabinet doors, cupboards, and kitchen units, and its durable finish also makes it suitable for bathroom units, unlike some of our other T-bars.

Massimo Buster Minale founded Buster + Punch in 2013, after years spent as an architect at firms like Foster and Partners, spending his evenings building motorbikes from scratch in a garage in Shoreditch. That garage is really where this handle comes from: bike parts are cast rough and finished by hand, and this T-bar follows the same two step process rather than pretending the rough stage never happened.
