An Old Shape, Lit Differently

The LED Teardrop takes the classic Buster + Punch teardrop silhouette and gives it an amber tinted glass shell with a visible LED filament inside, closer to a traditional filament bulb than the resin light pipe used elsewhere in the range. The result is a warm, glowing centre that suits fittings where the bulb itself is meant to be seen.

Choose Your Finish

This bulb comes in a single amber tinted glass finish, so there is no separate finish choice to make. Unlike the resin light pipe Buster Bulb range, which offers Crystal, Gold and Smoked, the Teardrop keeps to this one warm tone.

How It Works

This is a dimmable 3.5W LED bulb, best used with a Buster + Punch dimmer switch to get the most out of it, though it will also run on a standard on and off switch. It runs on a 200 to 240V AC supply, gives out 400 lumens with a CRI of 80, at a warm 2700K colour temperature, and is rated for around 25,000 hours. Unlike the rest of the Buster Bulb range, this one is genuinely glass rather than polycarbonate, so it should be handled with a little more care.

Where It Works Best

Fit it into any standard E27 screw fitting where you want the visible filament look, such as open pendant fittings or exposed multi drop lighting. If your fitting only has a plain on and off switch, the bulb will still work, it will just run at full brightness with no dimming effect. It is not suitable for damp or wet environments, so keep it to dry indoor spaces.
