An Intermediate Toggle for Switching From Three Points or More

This intermediate toggle module lets a light be switched from three or more locations, working alongside two standard two way switches on the same circuit rather than replacing them.

How It Works

Rated 220 to 250V at 50 or 60Hz with a 10A toggle mechanism, the intermediate module sits between two two way switches on the same lighting circuit. Any one of the three switches can turn the light on or off, whatever position the other two are in. As with all mains connected Buster + Punch modules, installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

Useful in a long hallway, an open staircase with more than two access points, or a large room with three entrances, anywhere two way switching alone would not cover every point you want to switch from.

Buster + Punch was founded in 2013 by Massimo Buster Minale, an architect who had worked at practices including Foster + Partners before spending his evenings building custom motorbikes by hand in a Shoreditch garage, machining his own parts rather than buying them ready made. Can I use this on its own?
No. An intermediate switch works together with two two way switches on the same circuit. It is not a standalone switch.

Does it come with the wall plate?
No. You will need a compatible Buster + Punch plate to fit this module into.

Who should install this?
A qualified electrician. This is a mains connected component and should always be installed and wired by a suitably qualified person.
